Ventura Centrale

9-14 April 2019
Milan, Italy

After the overwhelming success of the first two editions, Ventura Centrale yet again opened the beautiful abandoned warehouses alongside Milan’s Central Station during the Milan Design Week.

For its third edition the massive industrial vaults were once again filled with 17 majestic installations by renowned international companies, design labels and studios., such as Maarten Baas (The Netherlands), Noroo Group (Korea), AGC (Japan), Lavazza and Gufram (Italy), Rapt Studio (US) and many more. View the entire line-up.

The location proved itself as an indispensable stop on the Milan Design Week itinerary, attracting large numbers of design experts, journalists and general public. The historic Magazzini Raccordati tunnels, this year almost doubled in number, housed installations that were interactive, provoked social questions, made the crowds dance, dived into new technologies and materials, and put a smile on the faces of the visitors.

Since its start in 2017 Ventura Centrale has been expanding each year; from eight abandoned warehouses in 2017, to nine warehouses in 2018 and to sixteen vaults in 2019.
