Following a successful first edition, Ventura Future returned to Milan Design Week at a brand-new central location for its 2019 edition. From 9 - 14 April visitors of Ventura Future could explore the best of contemporary design from a mix of international academies, designers, brands and labels.
Ventura Future has chosen a close collaboration with the cultural project BASE which is located in the Ex-Ansaldo - a former industrial area in Milan. BASE Milano is a cultural project aimed at promoting innovation, life-long learning and cross-pollination in the creative industries and was our host during Ventura Future. Ventura Future occupied 3500 square metres divided over two floors. And it was full of revolutionary, innovative and ground-breaking design, focused on future visions. At Ventura Future 2019 we embraced several interesting themes such as food, craftsmanship, technology and some academies.

Another topic that was thoroughly explored during this edition of Ventura Future was bio-design. With the support of the Embassy and the Consulate-General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Milan and curated by Organisation in Design, the project Future (H)eart(H): 8 Dutch Design visions for a livable earth was on show. |

How to reach Ventura Future
Ventura Future can easily be reached by metro MM2 Green line. MM2 Green line: At Porta Genova Metro
station, walk into the direction of via Tortona. Once you have passed the ticket barrier of the metro, walk straight on – past the newsstand on your left – and take exit in front of you. Once you are outside, you will have to cross the square flanking the station on your left and walk along via Ventimiglia for about 120 mt. Turn left to take the crosswalk over the rails. Once you passed on the other side of the railway, turn left in via Tortona and follow the street for approx. 700m to reach via Tortona 54.

The industrial complex consists of 12,000 square metres divided over four floors. Ventura Future 2019 will be located at BASE Milano.

Ventura Future - Aftermovie
Ventura Projects looks back on a great second edition of Ventura Future. This year, in collaboration with BASE Milano, the event welcomed 26.000 unique visitors and 90.000 visits. Celebrating a decade of Ventura Projects in Milan, the week brought together everything that the organisation envisioned: forward-thinking projects, young talents, socially engaged design, academy presentations and a curious design audience that embraced the ideas of the future.
