For the 2018 Milan Design Week, Ventura Projects has found a new destination: Ventura Future!
The project will take place in three exceptional locations in the Loreto district: firstly, the doors of Loft, a beautiful Milanese gallery space, and FuturDome, the former meeting place of the Futurist movement, will showcase the future epoch of design. Secondly, there will be the former pharmacy faculty of Viale Abruzzi, an ancient building with an early-century residency style where former students left traces of their labors - students, whom we also welcome as exhibibtors to share with the public the visions of next generation designers.
Navigate the menu on the left for practical information regarding locations and opening hours.
With the first edtion of Ventura Future we are proud to annouce the 82 exhibitors showing their vision on the Future within 3 buildings.
We have hit exciting times in design history, wherein the world is increasingly embracing the ability of designers to think outside of conventional structures and produce radical solutions. Distinctions between the traditional disciplines are becoming less clear, demonstrating that cross-practice between designers, technologists, engineers and analytics is shaping better outcomes. From big data to complex networks, from resource management to health care issues - Ventura Future accommodates it all!

MM1 Red line: If you arrive from the city centre at Loreto Metro station, follow the signs that say Viale Abruzzi, then take the first corridor on the left and walk straight towards the ticket barrier onto the last exit on your right (Viale Abruzzi - Viale Gran Sasso).
Walk for around 150 m along viale Abruzzi until you reach the traffic light at the intersection with via Paisiello. The Ventura Future stickers on the walking path will bring you to the locations.
Connection between locations of Ventura Future: there will be a drivers service at your disposal. Every 10 minutes 3 cars will connect the Ventura Future locations (Via Paisiello 6, viale Abruzzi 42, via Donatello 36), but you can easily walk these distances as well.
Connection between Ventura Future and Ventura Centrale: Ventura Centrale is only 2 metro stops away from Ventura Future. From Centrale take the MM2 Green Line to Loreto metro station.
A shuttle bus service offered by Ventura Projects will connect Ventura Future and Ventura Centrale every 20 minutes.

Designing to Keep Healthy
In order to maintain a well functioning, affordable, humane health care system, we should consult the new generation, who have the incentive to tackle its problems with fresh and experimental ideas. For ‘HH. A Dutch Design Vision about Health and Happiness’, Ventura Future, with the support of the Dutch Embassy in Italy, selected seven designers that will present projects securing medical progress: Johan Viladrich, Nienke Helder, Gerjanne van Gink, Tamara Hoogeweegen, Alissa Rees, Rebekka Evita Strenk and Aurore Brard. This ranges from practical solutions for patients on a daily base to reflections on health, wellbeing and human life.
The FuturDome Prize is a worldwide contemporary disciplines prize to discover, recognise and give support to a future generation of creators. It is an innovative new international award for creative minds, investing in the aesthetics development and ground-breaking production of works.
